Hello everyone. 

Welcome to my site, which is aiming at enticing those of you who have a zest for writing...and of course who love to read a good story! 

My name is Julie Elizabeth Powell and I'm offering you a place where you can discuss words in any form, as long as they are imaginative, creative, informative, interesting, thought-provoking (and decent).

Have you guessed by now that words are my passion?  To me, they are a passport to any world, any time, anywhere...where they can thrill, excite and educate, amongst many other things.  They are full of magical ingredients ready to be mixed and measured into a concoction of our own making if we so wish or be ripened, waiting to charm our minds, previously blended by another alchemist of words.

 Gone,was my first published book, made possible by www.lulu.com last year and it was a dream come true!  It will certainly make you think differently.

A brief description:  A two year old girl's heart stops and she dies but is brought back too late, memories wiped, character vanished. One question haunts her mother's anguished mind: Where has her daughter gone? This story is one answer to that question. Inspired by truth.

I'll offer advice too, if you wish but that's not to say I know it all...I'm learning all the time.  I'll even comment on extracts of your work if you email it to me (please be patient, I'm extremely busy and need to learn how to time travel so as to double the available hours!)
